#Handmade - Hook case

I finally made my a hook case :-)
Just for my favorite hooks and notions so they are not scattered on my bedside table and I spend less time searching ;-)
Can you believe some of those Boyds cost as little as 29 cents?!

#Handmade - Face scrub pad

Finished pad after 36st of hdc, it's big enough at ~2"
Total pad size ~3"

I'm not good at math, but did 2 patches now and come to 18 st in round 3, not 24.
It might be me, not having enough coffee though ;-)

I just increased in my next / last row in almost every stitch and came to 36 and called it a day.

Works as well :-)

I also switched to a chain 2, instead of ch1 at the beginning of each round.

I didn't break the yarn after finishing the second patch.
Instead I put together the two patches on the wrong side, chain 1 and slip st together the two adjoining inner loops of each last stitch (see photo).

Leave enough of an opening for two fingers & finish off :-)

#Handmade - Korb

Made a little basket for either projects or Leftover yarns (or anything else),
out of Sisal / packaging thread.
A bit tough to work with at the beginning and rough on your hands, but after a while it gets easier.

If you need a 'How to', drop me a note.

#Handmade - Good Luck Clover

Tried out two patterns, not able to crochet them, so I just made up one :-)
Ignore the clover in the back. Didn’t have time to press it ;-)

#Handmade - Schluffen aka comfy House shoes

I needed something to wear besides / over my socks. The floor is cold and the socks only start feeling wet after a while, so wearing these on top = comfy feet :-)

I made them a bit too big at the toes, haven't done them in a while :-)

I've used sock yarn and acrylic. Acrylic alone would result into holes at the heels and bottom really fast.
In a mix it usually is more durable. We shall see :-)

#Handmade - Soap holder

From Handmade

Notes

Achtung!
Entweder groesser machen beim naechsten Mal, oder kleinere Seife nehmen.
Das Ding pappt an der Seife fest!

Perfect little yarn cake holder :-)
Made by accident.

#Handmade - Chapstick holder / Labello Halter

No more searching for your Chapstick :-)
Made this from Yarn Leftovers (very small amount) and will make more, since we might get a table at one of the Christmas Bazaars this year.
I'm sure they make nice gifts too :-)

#Handmade, Winterfell pouch

Hauptmuster: versetzte Reliefstäbchen aus der Häkelbibel

From Handmade

Made this pouch so I can easily carry my passport and phone with me when walking the dogs, due to recent police checks. I will add a lining and zipper at a later time, I think.
Named ‘Winterfell Pouch’, because it was made while watching the first season of ‘Game of Thrones’ :-)

#Handmade - Crochet Vintage Handbag

Original pattern from a German magazine and edited a wee bit to my own liking ;-)

Busy

Just one more square...
;-)
My Mom gave me the squares, she made them from Leftover sock yarn. She tried to crochet them together, but didn't like the outcome. I am not so picky :-)
Over time i will add more squares to make it a real big blanky :-)

What are you up to?
