#Handmade - Banana bag

Made with 'Banana yarn' from Nepal - gift from a friend.
The yarn is made from the fibers of the Banana tree trunk.
The old parts of the tree trunk are peeled off, soaked and then worked into fiber.....or something like that :-)

The bag's small, but big enough for small projects or just 'stuff' :-)

#Handmade - Recycled burlap bags

Two more recycled Burlap bags finished - coffee bags, I think :-)

The first one is really big, but perfect for summer to come with a long strap,
so it's comfy to carry big water bottles (and your knitting) around.

The smaller one is more a basket.
Currently I store my spindle and wool for spinning in there (not that I have tried spinning yet)....

Making the bag was a lot of fun. Minus the handles. I got the hang of it doing the second one though :-)

Die Tasche ha, bis auf die Henkel sehr viel Spass gemacht. Die Henkel waren auch ok, nur hab ich mich beim ersten etwas dumm angestellt. Der zweite ging schneller ;-)

The Quarter are no squares, they were rectangles, and all uneven from their seize, but it worked in the end.
I also didn't use ling, instead I did a double rectangle of green and brown.

Die 'Quater' waren auch keine Quadrate, sondern Rechtecke und nicht gleich gross. Aber es geht alles ;-) Innenfutter habe ich auch keins, dafuer habe ich je eine Lage braun und gruen zu einem Rechteck zusammengenaeht.

Finally did a lining for my project bag. Not prefect, but a start ;-)

And a 'curtain' for my flower stand (an old cable roll thingy I collected) from curtain Leftovers (I shortened the curtains last week, one perfect the other not so much ;-))

Und letzte Woche aus Vorhangresten (hab meine Vorhaenge gekuerzt (den einen perfekt, den anderen nicht ganz perfekt....) ein 'Tuch' fuer meinen Blumenstaender (eine alte Kabelrolle, die ich aufgesammelt hab ;-))

I hate it when my circular needles flop around in my bag. I'll make little bags like this one for each size and sow on the needle#. That should help :-)
Next one will be with two Velcro thingies though.

Ich mag's gar nicht, wenn meine Nadeln in meiner Tasche rumfliegen und ich mehr Muehe hab die richtige zu finden, als irgendwas zu stricken. Also mach ich mir kleine Taschen, naeh die Nadelstaerke vorne drauf und das sollte an sich helfen :-)
Die nachste Tasche bekommt allerdings zwei Klettverschluesse :-)
