#Egypt - Another New Year

There we go again.
As every year, I can only say: Time flies.

This photo is going down the memory lane to 2009/ 2010 in South Sinai, Egypt.
I wonder, what these guys are doing today and if they are still alive.
I remember, many came from the Cairo region.

From Egypt

I will challenge myself (again) this year to do a 365.
Using mainly my 'normal' camera and not the phone.
Lazyness had it this year that I took most of my photos with that.
Needs to change! Big time :-)

#Egypt - Memories

From Egypt

Last one for tonight :-)
I think.
Did I mention lately that my archives are way too big & that 80% of the photos
have never been edited / posted,... sigh :-)

#Egypt - Hello Sir

From Egypt

Just gotta post this fun moment, also from my #Egypt archives 2010.
I was trying to catch the Tern preening in the back when I saw this
guy approaching and adjusted my frame a bit ;-)

Just walking through my archives, not deleting as much as I should ;-)
Wishing you all a great weekend!

Photography Mentorship Week 2 - Habit forming

One part of the Mentorship program & a lesson for this week is the forming of habits.
I have chosen two to develop in the coming weeks.
1/2 hour each for working in my Zazzle Shop and for cleaning up my ext. Harddrive (current status: 106.328 files, photos from 2004 up to today).
I might pop up with an archive shot as a reward from time to time.
Not that that would sidetrack me....at all.... :-)
But heck, I've done both today, so here comes my reward:

#Egypt - Coloured Canyon

Coloured Canyon, South Sinai, Egypt 2010

'Sometimes you can't find your way,
the walls are too high,
the path too narrow.
Keep walking,
believe in yourself.
Your path will find you'

--------------------------------------

This is one of my archive albums I haven't done anything with.
Not sure why.
It seems that every time I start, I get sidetracked, my path cloudy and unclear.
There are quite a few albums in my archive that are sadly neglected.
Lots of work yet to be brought to light.

How about you?
Do you post everything immediately?
Clean your folders and (for the ones with online shops) post your work right away?
