No more Fahaheel beach. At least not with the dogs.
And what's the point of going there without?
I guess someone higher up must have gotten scared.
Oh well. For now we still have Mangaf beach.
Not for much longer, I'm afraid, since they are building all that fancy stuff there.
But with all that trash around it really ain't no fun anyway. All the dogs want to do these days, is
go and roam for scraps. Yuck.

And this one is the dumping ground for trash left in appartments when people leave or get new furniture.

Once a month it gets cleaned up.
Newest thing is to dump food Leftovers all over the place. Great!

It was humid, in the morning it smelled like rain, but soon enough I realized, it's humidity.

The 'yellow men' have tried to clean up around here, but my neighbours don't seem to give a shit.

#Kuwait - The Beauty and the Beast

Mother Nature and I wept some tears this morning.
The beach has been the worst since I got here.
Trash upon trash and heaps of algae (whatever that's supposed to mean).

The weather is hazy, but at least it was cool.
The dogs had fun :-)
King shed so much fur these past two weeks, he was clean and dry by the time we reached the house.
Now, that's nice for a change (he usually stays wet till evening).

The guy in the second last photo is the one I talked about on yesterday's post.
He was there again today.

The man in the other photo seemed to be praying. I don't know if it's Indian custom to pray at the water? One morning I let a woman pass in front of me, going down to the waters edge for some rinsing with water and praying.

I silently apologized to Mother Nature for not cleaning up the beach, collecting bottles and whatnot.
I think, she understands since I found a very unique, beautiful pottery shard right after.
I love the little signs, call me crazy, I don't care ;-)

Here's for wishing that people would just show some more respect and at least clean up after themselves. Shame on you, whoever and wherever you all are.

Like so many other things at the beach.

It never seizes to amaze me how much trash the tide brings in.
Plastic bottles of course, but also shoes in abundance, clothes, fishing utensils, goggles, sun glasses,,. you name it.
We had a rough night out there and today it was a real menagerie of things.

If the beach already looks like this, I really do not want to know what the bottom of the ocean looks like.

We humans are so stupid and useless, we really do need Mother Nature to kick us where it hurts!

The old Amir's place is finally gone, new construction is coming up.

Unfinished buildings at the main road and the trash is still the same too.
But currently there are actually 4 guys in their yellow street cleaner suits cleaning up some of the mess. Did folks here actually start to learn?

This has once been a trash dumping ground, right beside where they carved stones out of the earth and where they now still get gravel for construction sites.
There are no open dumping grounds left in Germany.
The old ones are covered with earth and some even have new housing sites on top of them.
Many of those face problems now, because the trash decays.
Humans are so smart!

Irgendwann vor etlichen Jahren war das hier ein Schuttabladeplatz (Kaul).
Direkt neben den Steinbruechen und den jetzigen Kiesbaggergruben (oder was auch immer die da ausgraben).
Offene Muellhalden gibt es heute in Deutschland keine mehr. Die alten sind zugeschuettet, ueberwachsen und oft bebaut. Viele stehen heute vor Problemen mit Ihren Neubauten, weil die Erde absackt, da der Muell sich zersetzt.
Menschen sind so schlau!

I couldn't believe my eyes. These guys actually removed a big pile of household trash that was laying around the corner since 6 weeks (or longer).
To give them some benefit of the doubt. They would have maybe done it earlier had not two people dumped their trashed cars right there.
