#Handmade - Me hat :-)

Since hubby liked the last one, this one’s for me :-)

We've been actually WALKING this morning. Down to Fahaheel beach. It was still pitch dark, but the advantage was that not too many people were about. It started getting 'crowded' on my way back. Perfect timing. King was panting like a steam engine for at least another hour and it took me a while to stop sweating. Boy, we are out of shape :-) It rained last night and it's cloudy every day - love it!

#Handmade - Hat

From Handmade

Started with a 5mm needle, should have switched to 4mm sooner.
CO 64st, yarn about Bulky (2 x DK - maybe)
Should have done a few rows more (need to count rows).
This was supposed to be for hubby, we’ll see tonight, if it fits (maybe if he doesn’t fold the brim,….).

If it doesn’t, it’s mine and I need to make another one for him ;-P
The decreases in the pattern sound weird, but if you go with the flow of the pattern and either k2tog or p2tog according to what pops up, it works nicely.
And for me at the first decrease round I had two st left, I just went from there with my next round of counting.
Worked.
Just don’t overthink it ;-)

#Handmade - Baby Beanie

From Handmade

Colour is grey-blue, can’t get it right with the phone cam.
Will make this one plain.
Switched to a 4mm circular and decreased 2st after row 20 to compensate.
Starting a decrease in row 43, one stitch at the beginning and one in the middle (s1k1psso), every 2 rows x 3.
From row 50 4 decreases per row.
switch back to 2pointed needles in row 52.

Feuerland Muetze

The two hats were a present. Sadly, I couldn't take measurments and had no pattern, so they turned out a wee bit too big :/

Crochet hat / Haekelmuetze

Found the pattern in a magazine and liked it.
Had to test it & gifted the result to my Best friend :-)
