Workshop, Week 2, day 2

It is still all about telling a story with your photo and working on focus.

Instead of looking just for odd, interesting things that I searched last week, I am now looking for odd, interesting things that might lead to an imaginary story.

With this first one I was trying to get a shallow DOF (Depth of Field) with the focus somewhere in the middle on one of the letters and yet have the buildings in the reflection. The sunlight looked nice too. I even walked back to the car, after already passing it.
It didn't fully work out, should have probably set the ISO a tad higher.

This was a slightly failed attempt to draw the eye along the line of the poles to the McD sign. Since I used a wide open aperture the shot turned out sucky quality wise. It does kind of work focus wise though, I think.

Not exactly sure what i thought the story of this would be. Playing with dof, I think =)
